The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth

Matt 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth”. This statement made by our Master and the Mashiach Yahshua is most misunderstood.  He was speaking of the time when we would rule and reign with Him in the Millennial reign.

As man has so often done in the past we think he is talking about the present and that we will be prosperous if we will just be a floor-mat and let the world run over us. Just keep quiet and do not protest to loudly when the world denies our Creator and master Almighty Yahveh. Just be a limp wrested wimp and do not challenge any statement that anyone makes. Just be a push over for anyone’s ideology. My precious saint this concept could not possibly be any further from the truth.

I have a problem with people thinking that the image of a pastor should be some mealy mouth, limp wrested and politically correct person and not a man’s man in the least.  Now please do not misunderstand me I do not mean that a pastor should not be sensitive neither do I mean that he should have a boisterous or obnoxious manner. I am merely saying that he should not appear weak and compromising in his thoughts and mannerisms. He should have convictions and his passion for the convictions should be evident.

It really bothers me that T.V. Evangelist can make strong statements declaring certain catastrophes that came upon this nation were judgments from Almighty Yahveh and that there are further judgments coming. Then they will do a complete about face and apologize for the statement when they get resistance from their viewers. Either these statements are inspired warnings of The Almighty or not.  If they were from Yahveh then shame on you for apologizing, you should not have been so concerned about what the people thought and more concerned with what The Almighty said to you. However, if the statement was only your emotional reaction and a mere opinion you should have not spoken it out to begin with. Read More →

Be Light In A Dark World

John 3:17-21 For Almighty Yahveh did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of Almighty Yahveh. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in Almighty Yahveh.”

Yahshua came not into the world to condemn the world but He came that the world through Him might be saved. The light came and men chose darkness rather than light. He came to bring light that sin might appear exceedingly sinful. The light is the Torah and Yahshua was the Torah made flesh. The light came into the world and the world knew Him not. He taught us the meaning and the precepts of the Torah; (1) Love Almighty Yahveh with all your heart and (2) love your neighbor as yourself, on these two commands hinge all of the others.

If you love Almighty Yahveh with all your heart you will want to please Him. We know that we cannot please Him unless we obey Him and we cannot obey Him if we will not obey His commands. We cannot love our neighbor as ourselves if we retaliate against them for every wrong committed against us or if we intentionally wrong them because they do not please us. Man from the beginning of time has been misled by his emotions and the carnal desires of the flesh. Emotionally we are frustrated when we have failure after failure to attain the things desired by the lusts of the flesh. From the time of our natural birth in this world we are motivated by what our body desires and are controlled by physical needs. When we were hungry as a baby we set up a howl until we were fed. We screamed until we got what we wanted. Then came the natural result of being fed and we screamed until we got a diaper change. Can you see that by nature we are focused on the things of this world and the desires of this world; the things that are attractive to the eye and to be desired by our flesh.

When we receive a pleasing gift from a friend or a loved one there is an emotional reaction. Our lives are ruled by our emotions, excitement, disappointment, frustration, anger or pleasure all these are emotional reactions. Yahshua gave His life on the stake that we might have forgiveness of our sins. He went to the tomb on the evening of the Fourth Day (Wednesday) and arose the evening of the Seventh Day (Sat). When Yahshua arose He no longer had to fight the same battles in the physical that He had before His death on the stake. He had resurrected in power and victory over the grave. You can be assured in the flesh He did not want to go through the torment and torture of the tribunal and the stake. His physical and emotional reactions were “if it be possible spare me this cup.” That was the natural reaction. Blessed be the name of Almighty Yahveh His prayer did not end there, He was ruled by the Ruach (Spirit) not the flesh or emotions. He went on to pray “Not My will but Thou will be done” Yahshua’s commitment and devotion overruled His emotional and physical desires. Aren’t you glad they did? Yahshua could not get the victory apart from dying to His desires. Without death there is no resurrection. Yahshua died in the flesh, He willingly went to the stake. He trusted Almighty Yahveh to resurrect Him from the dead, not allowing His soul to see corruption. Yahshua was not focused on the things of this world but the eternal prize that was set before Him. Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Yahshua, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of Almighty Yahveh.” Read More →

Who Has Believed Our Report

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of Almighty Yahveh been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.” Isa 53:1-3

Who has believed our report and to whom has the arm of Almighty Yahveh been revealed? This is a question that obviously was running around in Isaiah’s mind as he asked of the people.

As I ponder on this scripture, I realize the hardships the prophets must have suffered at the hands of the religious crowd. I am sure that many times they must have felt like they were not being heard by the populous. It is obvious that in most cases they were not.

The prophets of old were not like the preachers of today on television and in the mega churches. Many of these have mega salaries and mega homes and some have two or three million or multi-million dollar properties called mansions. False prophets who tickled the king’s ears and the ears of the populous for their favors and riches have always been present. Read More →

What’s In A Name

“Almighty Yahveh also will be a refuge for the oppressed,

A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Father Yahveh, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Ps 9:9-10 NKJV

As I read, the Scripture above it never ceases to amaze me what has been done with the English translation. Some of the English Bibles will at least tell you that they have made a substitution for the name of our Sovereign. However many do not even bother to notify you of the Substitution.

Many sincere saints have read the Bible for years and believe The LORD is His name. Because the English scriptures in many cases declare that The LORD is my name. They never bother to tell you that the title is derived from the Hebrew tetragrammation ( hwhy ) –Yode, Hey, Vav, Hey – probably pronounced Yahveh.

You say to me what is all the fuss about? Many do not know the name to trust in.

You might say I call on the name of the Lord and sometimes God, He knows my heart. He knows that I love Him and serve Him. He knows whom I am addressing. I agree. He does know to whom you are addressing and in times past winked at your Ignorance but now requires all men to come into obedience. (Acts 17:29-30) Read More →

Wall of Salvation

When we start a conversation concerning salvation we must clearly define the subject; if we do not give a satisfactory clarification of the subject we can generate confusion. Most would define salvation in the Church realm as being qualified by the unmerited grace of Almighty Yahveh to enter Glory after death, through Yahshua the Mashiach. The salvation we want to talk about is inclusive of the after life on Earth experience but not exclusive of the life on Earth before death.

We love to talk about the Sweet By and By and I certainly want to include the Sweet By and By in this discussion. I also want to talk about the Nasty Now and Now and that’s where we will focus most of our attention. Now my precious saint if you don’t make a successful trip through the Nasty Now and Now there will be no Sweet By and By. Let us begin to focus on the present need for deliverance and protection called salvation, from the present situations of life. To consider this subject and neglect to consider the life of the man who walked more abundantly in deliverance than probably any other man would be shameful. This man was King David. Read More →
