Shavuot (Pentecost in the Greek) was not only the day Yah clothed His followers with His Spirit. Nearly 1500 years before this event recorded in Acts (2:1-4), Yah commanded His people to cleanse themselves (to set themselves apart) for three days to prepare for His giving of His Torah. And each of the Hebrews (and the mixed multitude grafted in) had to make a choice that day. Did they love Yah more than themselves? We must decide that same thing for ourselves today.
