Rom 1:16-17 for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Mashiach, for it is the power of Almighty Yahveh to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of Sovereign is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “”The just shall live by faith.”” Paul is making a statement here for the people to understand where he stood and what his convictions were. I am not in the least bit embarrassed by the gospel of Yahshua. The reason I am not embarrassed by the gospel is that it is not a Greek philosophy having no power to do either good or evil but a manifestation of the will and the power of Almighty Yahveh to save a lost and wayward generation.
The key word in the scripture above is the power of Almighty Yahveh to deliver all who will trust Him to deliver from sin and destruction through Yahshua Mashiach. When we come to Yahveh through Yahshua, we are to be a new creation. We are no longer to be a bottle floating on the water going along with the flow. We are no longer powerless & at the mercy of the enemy who has no power over Yah’s children. Much like the person whose about to be murdered and in his hand is a loaded gun all the power he needs to avoid being murdered is in his hand, but he doesn’t know how to release the safety mechanism. In this situation, he had all the power he needed to save his life and the lives of his family, however due to lack of knowledge he and his family perished.
Hos 4:6 6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your Sovereign, I also will forget your children”. In the case of the man with the gun, he must release the safety and pull the trigger in order to release the power of the gun. He held the power in his hand but did not know how to release the power therefore, he perished needlessly.
Many of the saints today do not understand how to release the power of the gospel. What I hope to do today is to teach you how to load your weapon and to release the safety so you can release the power when needed to protect yourself or your family (brothers and sisters in Yahshua). Every believer that has been washed in the blood of Yahshua has access to the weapons of our warfare. Unlike the carnal weapon we talked about above these weapons are spiritual and much more powerful even to the pulling down of strongholds.
As in carnal weapons, your spiritual weapons must be loaded. Now I am not going to teach you how to load a pistol or a rifle but I am going to teach you how to load the most powerful weapon in the world, the power of Almighty Yahveh by the Ruach HaKadosh. This weapon is mighty to the pulling down all the strongholds that Ha Satan has set up in your life. 2 Cor 10:4-5 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through Almighty Yahveh to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of The Almighty, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Mashiach. This scripture tells you of the importance of bringing every thought into captivity causing it (the thought) to submit to life and teachings of Yahshua.
You cannot have the power of Almighty Yahveh in your life if you have sin in your life. Now sin is the violation of the commands.
I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. My point, being that many if not the majority of believers are taught that the Law (commandments) no longer apply that Yahshua took them away. However, Yahshua said, “I came not to destroy the law but to fulfill the law”. The Word fulfill can be translated to (perform to the fullest) The Father gave us instructions in the 30th chapter of Deuteronomy how to live, if we are to live a life of blessings we must choose to do so. Deut 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live”. If we fail to make a choice, we have already chose curses. Curses come to you if you do nothing but blessings only come if you choose to walk in them. The choice to walk in blessings is a choice to follow the Commandments of Almighty Yahveh and keep His Statutes.
Here is the deal, Satan was a liar from the start. His whole tactic is to cause you to think like he thinks. Case in point; Eve never considered eating of the forbidden fruit until Satan introduced the thought into her mind. Once she entertained the thought then he reinforced the thought by maximizing the benefits ” you will be like Yahveh, you’ll know good and evil; minimizing the consequences saying, “Surely you won’t die”. What he did not elaborate on was that disobedience would separate mankind from The Father and change the relationship between Yahveh and mankind. Today he is teaching many believers that they do not have to worry about what Almighty Yahveh told you to do or not to do, the lie that Yahshua took all the consequences for your sin and The Father does not expect you to follow His commands. Surely, you will not die and surely, you will not go to Hell; The Father loves you too much to send you to Hell and this is another perversion. The truth is the Father does not send any one to Hell they have made the choice to go there by their lifestyle of disobedience. The devil cannot stand the idea that you have been given power and authority over him. The only thing he can do about that is to poison you so you are too weak to resist him. He is the one that destroys the most people with the least effort; so what does he do? He goes to the well that is supposed to bring forth living water, the church. The church that is supposed to be giving out living water is spewing out bitter or poisoned water. The poison is that you do not have to keep the commandments and there are no consequences to disobedience. If you confess that Jesus is the son of God and that He died and rose again for your sins you will go to Heaven. No teaching about the true Covenant or presenting yourself a living sacrifice which is your reasonable service. Now that we have defined the perversion let’s talk about the answer to this perversion.
The best answer to any lie is the truth. Some may say what is the truth? There are as many different church doctrines as they are fleas on a dog’s back. We must not fail to assemble ourselves together to have fellowship; as iron sharpens iron so we are to one another. The truth is, we must have a working relationship with The Father and be interested enough to search out the Scriptures for The Truth yourself and not depend on some pastor to spoon feed you the truth according to his beliefs.
Ps 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but Almighty Yahveh delivereth him out of them all. The answer to every problem you could possibly have is answered in His Word and this is the power that overcomes the world. You are going to have to overcome the world and it will throw every obstacle it can in front of you. When the devil can’t stop you with circumstances, he will start playing with your mind, planting perverted thoughts in your mind. If you entertain the thoughts rather than rebuking them then the thought becomes an invitation to the spirit (demon). Once the demon has woven his thought into your thoughts, it becomes hard to separate your thoughts from his. Your thought process becomes perverted and you are exposed to temptation.
The Word says you have power over all the power of the enemy (the wicked one) and that no weapon formed against you can prosper. Now this does not mean that you are not going to have trials and tribulation as this is a part of your inheritance as a believer.
1Corinthians 10:12-13 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but Yahveh is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it .The first secret to success in the Kingdom is to always look for the escape route when temptation comes your way. The second thing is you need to make a practice of testing the spirits and see if it promotes Sovereignly principals. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil. This is probably the one best single practice to stay free of demons. Most Christians will tell you that if you are saved you do not have to worry about demons. If this last statement is true, why does the Scripture state that the devil walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour? (Ephesians 4:27 but please read Eph. 4:26-32) The Word that is used here, MAY, indicates permission. None would willingly give permission for the devil to devour them. How does he get permission to devour you or take control of you or influence your thought process? The more common condition is oppression. Demons like to oppress you with perverted thoughts and desires that are against the Word. Their goal is to hinder you and wear you down making it more difficult for you to be profitable to the Kingdom.
Satan will constantly try to tempt you to surrender authority to him. The best instruction you can get is from the scriptures inspired by the Ruach HaKadosh. I am going to talk about a few scriptures that I believe give the perfect battle plan and defense while fighting Satan. The first one I want to talk about instructs us in two areas. The first area is the surrender of authority over your life. Eph 4:27 Nor give place to the devil. This indicates that you can take authority from the Ruach HaKadosh and surrender that authority to Satan. We need to realize that we have control over who has authority over our lives Almighty Yahveh or Satan.
We choose who is in control of our lives and our actions by whom we yield. Eph 4:28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Again, this Scripture informs us of the folly of believing we can be under the control of the Ruach Ha Kadosh resisting the devil and continue to live the way we did before coming to Yahveh through Yahshua Mashiach. Eph 4:29 Tells us of the importance changing our behavior and our conversation in submission to the Word of Almighty Yahveh that it might be well with us. We are told in this verse not to let any corrupt communication come out of our mouth. Mark 11:23 tells us what so ever comes out of a man’s mouth believing and doubting not shall come to pass. Many people have not figured out that the tongue can be a major weapon in the war against Satan; it can also be the greatest weapon for Satan to use against you.
Like most carnal weapons they can be used against the enemy and be very beneficial to us but in the enemy’s hands that self same weapon can be just as deadly used against us. The tongue is no different controlled by Satan and letting corrupt communication come out of your mouth is very destructive. Much like in combat rather than aiming your rifle at the enemy and pulling the trigger; you point it at your foot and pull the trigger shooting your own self in the foot.
Even so many Christians have not figured out why they are limping around crippled and maimed. They see no need to bridle the tongue not knowing that much of their conversation is demon inspired and demon controlled. James 3:4-5 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.
This verse tells us as a rudder controls the direction of a ship so does the tongue control the direction of your life; the circumstances you experience and whether you triumph over the circumstances or are defeated by them. When life seemingly just dumps on you and you are believing and trusting Almighty Yahveh but it keeps happening over and over again, it is time to check what is coming out of your mouth. If Satan controls your communication with frustration and desperation, he controls your life with circumstances. You are oppressed and most likely depressed by two very strong demons. The demons of depression and oppression are ruled by these two rulers of darkness the demons of frustration and desperation.
Influencing you to talk about your circumstances perpetuates the circumstances and prevents you from overcoming them. By talking your circumstances is one way to give place to the devil. You are a faith generator if you talk your circumstances you are agreeing with the devil that this is how your life should be. Therefore rather than giving glory to Almighty Yahveh for His faithfulness you are agreeing with Satan that you are helpless and that you have no power over circumstances. In essence, you just have to take whatever he chooses to throw into your life. Here by giving him permission to continue to wreak havoc in your life and your life is testifying to the world that there is no benefit to serving Yahveh.
You may ask, “how do I get out of this trap if I’m already in Satan’s grasp by the circumstances”. What you are to do is speak the Word of Almighty Yahveh concerning your situation. Call into being those things that are not as though they are. “What so ever a man saith with his mouth believing in his heart and doubting it not it shall come to pass”. Talking circumstances calls into being more of the same conditions; strengthening the circumstances so as to make it much harder to break their hold over you. Train yourself to speak what the Word says concerning you for you are predestined to be transformed into the image of Yahshua showing forth the glory of Almighty Yahveh.
